Affidavit Of Witnesses, The State Of Texas, Confederate Pension Application
We remember that B.B. Box was in the war and a member of Randall's Regiment, but cannot say when he was enlisted, but that he was disbanded in May 1865. We know these facts because we saw him frequently as he had a brother in our company and would visit him. H.R. Russell {signature} S.M. Russell {signature} Note: Franklin Box, H.R. Russell, and S.M. Russell were member of Company D, 14th Texas Infantry [Clark's] regiment which was brigade with B.B. Box's regiment in Randal's-Maclay's Brigade of Walker's Texas Division from May 1863 until the end of the war. |
