    On her most excellent website, Sadie Greening Sparks reports that C.R. Ericson's NACOGDOCHES - GATEWAY TO TEXAS, Volume II states that Joseph G. Box is buried in Lone Star Cemetery.

    However, I know from an April 2004 walkabout that cemetery that Joseph G. Box's headstone
  • is not present
  • is not indicated on the cemetery's Map Of Lots
    In a telephone conversation, cemetery officials emphatically stated that Joseph G. Box was not buried in Lone Star Cemetery.
