The headstone was lowered 4 inches, set on 8 x 12 x 2.5 inch 'fired' bricks footing, leveled, and plumbed.
[ The headstone was originally set too high and was tilted ( rolled ) to its right ~ 20 degrees. ]


Benjamin F. Bounds enlisted as a Private 09July1861 at Muldrough's Hill, KY. BFB served 05 months in Company F of the 2nd KY CAV; 09Sept1861 to 22Feb1862.

Benjamin F. Bounds was discharged on 22Feb1862.
